Cancer Genetics
Cancer genetics research in the genetics program
encompasses various aspects under the general theme that genetic and
epigenetic alterations affecting tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes
lead to the genesis as well as the spread of cancer. Our efforts are
currently focused on the use of high throughput and traditional technologies
to understand the genetic and epigenetic basis of cancer to invent new
tools for diagnosis, management and therapy of cancer.
