Frontiers in Molecular Medicine

“Mapping Genes for Complex Diseases”

This all-day symposium, organized by the Genetics Program, will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Keefer Auditorium on the Boston University Medical Campus. It will feature new research on a variety of topics related to the genetic basis of complex disorders, particularly those that are prevalent in adults including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hearing loss, and Alzheimer disease. Keynote speakers include Dr. Kari Stefansson, co-founder of DECODE GENETICS and Dr. P. Michael Conneally, past president of the American Society of Human Genetics.
